Jeffreys Bay (Supertubes) surf guide
The wave. Supertubes is the main section of the J-Bay right, a fast, hollow wall that runs about 340 meters over reef. It sits below Boneyards at the top and above Impossibles and The Point. Shaun Tomson first surfed here in 1968, when early surfers rode only The Point.
Who it suits. Supertubes is for advanced surfers with good speed and line choice. The mellower inside walls at The Point suit beginners to intermediates.

Medians from years of hindcast, not a forecast (how we read the hindcast). Water temperatures come from an offshore model grid, which reads a little warm on an upwelling coast. More on the break in the South Africa guide.
