Aircraft-type restrictions: max 4 surfboards per aircraft on Embraer 145 and ATR 42/72, max length 170 cm; unable to carry on Twin Otter (Islander also excluded for large items like bicycles). Advance booking via Customer Help Centre (0344 800 2855) advised; carriage is space-available — equipment may travel on the next available flight and must be collected by the passenger. 25 kg is the single-article bag limit (hold allowance 15-30 kg by fare). Relevant to Inverness: ATR/Embraer routes OK, Orkney/inter-island Twin Otter routes cannot carry boards.
