The waves at Lost Shore Surf Resort
Lost Shore Surf Resort opened in 2024. It is an outdoor pool on Wavegarden Cove.

When to go
Open all year, but waves run in daylight only. Sessions run 8am to 6pm in October and 9am to 5pm in November.
The resort can postpone sessions when the water gets too cold, with a full refund.
A wetsuit is mandatory: at least 2 mm, covering torso and legs.
Boards, wetsuits and lessons
Board hire is included in the session. Wetsuit hire costs extra.
Sessions include a soft foamie. A wetsuit package with boots, gloves and hood costs £8 a day.
Lessons last 90 minutes (30 on land, 60 in the water) and include all gear.
Surfers must be 7 or older and able to swim 25 m. Cancellations within 14 days get no refund.
Getting there and where to stay
EDI is about 10 minutes away, which is the shortest airport-to-lineup transfer of any pool on this list.
The resort has on-site Waterfront Pods from £100 a night and lodges from £125.
