The waves at Al Ain Adventure
Al Ain Adventure opened in 2012. It is an outdoor pool on Murphys Waves.

When to go
Open daily all year. The surf pool runs 7:00 to 12:00, and hours change on public holidays.
The water sits at about 24 C.
Swimwear and water shoes are required, and rash guards are recommended.
Boards, wetsuits and lessons
Board hire is included in the session.
The park provides soft boards. Your own board is allowed if it meets safety standards.
Group and individual surf lessons run on request.
Book ahead online or on WhatsApp. Surfers must be 1.2 m tall and able to swim, and under-18s need an adult.
Getting there and where to stay
Al Ain sits between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, roughly 90 minutes from either. Also worth pricing: AUH.
The park sits at the foot of Jebel Hafeet, about 1 hour 30 minutes by car from Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
