Manasquan Inlet surf guide
The wave. Manasquan Inlet is a beach break over sand and rock beside the north jetty, where the Manasquan River meets the Atlantic. Swell hits the jetty and stacks into steep right-hand wedges, with lefts on some swells. The jetties date to the 1930s and were built with rock from the excavation of Manhattan's Second Avenue Subway.
Who it suits. It suits intermediate surfers on most days. Big hurricane swells and packed lineups are for experienced surfers.
