Imsouane (The Bay) surf guide
The wave. The Bay at Imsouane is a long, mellow right that wraps around the headland and fishing port into a south-facing bay. Rides run 150 to 300 meters over sand and can last more than two minutes. Imsouane was a small Amazigh fishing and argan farming village before the wave drew surfers.
Who it suits. Beginners, improvers and longboarders get the most from the long, soft walls. Shortboarders can sit closer to the point, and bigger days build a wall that can be rippable or full of sections.
