The fine print
Surfboards allowed as special baggage (items exceeding 158 linear cm). Max board length 3.20 m, but only 1.90 m on ATR (smaller) aircraft; hold capacity may prevent all boards from flying on the same flight. No absolute limit on number of boards per customer, but fees scale per bag/extra board. Bag over 23 kg pays an excess-baggage fee on top of the service fee; max 45 kg per bag (32 kg for Europe). Fins must be protected with rigid support or removed. Via digital channels only 1 special baggage per passenger (more can be arranged at the airport). Kayaks, canoes, windsurf boards and hang gliders are NOT accepted.
