The fine print
Surf equipment: up to 3 surfboards per case; more than 3 requires a new case and a second special-baggage fee. Boards must be packed in their own covers. Items must weigh up to 23 kg; above that a fixed excess-weight fee applies, with absolute checked limits of 45 kg domestic and 32 kg international. Fares that include a free regular checked bag do NOT cover special baggage, and loyalty status gives no exemption. GOL not liable for damage to special baggage; oversize items go via GOLLOG cargo.
