LATAM Airlines takes surfboards for a $100 fee each way.
The fine print
Surfing equipment: 1 bag with a maximum of 3 boards, transported in the hold as special baggage for an additional fixed cost. Special baggage must not exceed 300 linear cm (surf/windsurf/kitesurf/SUP bags get an exception: up to 320 cm long regardless of width/height) and must comply with the maximum weight permitted for the route (specific kg not stated on page). Must be packed properly to avoid damaging other baggage; items over the limits (kayaks, canoes, etc.) go via LATAM Cargo. Add in advance via Sales Offices, My Trips, Contact Center, or airport.

What is LATAM Airlines's surfboard size limit?
Surf bag can be up to 320 cm long (10.4 ft), independent of width and height (general special-baggage limit is 300 linear cm). Surf bags are exempt from the general 300 linear cm special-baggage cap: up to 320 cm long regardless of width and height.
Does a board bag count as a checked bag on LATAM Airlines?
