Lion Air takes surfboards for a $12 fee each way.
The fine print
Surfboards are special baggage excluded from the free checked baggage allowance AND from prepaid baggage (lionair.co.id: 'Pre-paid Baggage does not include SURFBOARD & BICYCLE handling fees'). Max length by aircraft type: jet (Lion Air/Batik Air/Super Air Jet) 230 cm; if the Lion Air Group connecting itinerary includes a Wings Air propeller leg, 200 cm applies end-to-end. Max 23 kg per piece; secure packing and Special Baggage form required at check-in. Group support portal states max 5 surfboards per jet aircraft; each passenger prioritized for 1 board, extra boards may be moved to the next flight if capacity reached (group support-portal article now 404; confirmed via official-domain snippet).
