Per Frontier's official Special & Fragile Items list (PDF linked from faq.flyfrontier.com 'Sporting & Musical Equipment', August 2025 edition): one item = one surfboard, one wave ski, or one kite board; skeg fin must be encased in protective material; items over 99.9 lb not accepted; items over 15 feet not accepted; allow extra 30 minutes for check-in; checked yes, carry-on no. Tension noted: the general bag-limits FAQ says items over 110 linear inches are not accepted (+$75 applies at 63-110 linear inches), while the surfboard-specific list accepts boards up to 15 ft, so fee/acceptance above 110 linear inches is not explicitly priced. Windsurfing gear has its own entry (board, wooden boom, mast, sail; same 99.9-lb/15-ft limits).
